1. 1. I think it is important that Stanley thought that they weren’t digging just for character, they were digging for something. 2. I 2. I think it is also important that zigzag said that there are cameras all over camp, which the Warden watches them from.
Chapters 16-21
I think the most important part about this chapter is when the boys steal the bag of sunflower seeds because Stanley takes the blame for it when he didn’t even steal them.
Luminaries Chp.20-28 1. It is against the law to kiss a black man if you are white. It is important because now you can kiss people that are black but way back then you couldn’t. 2. Past the mountain there is an onion patch and water goes up hill. It is important because if Stanley ever runs away he can go to that to get food and water.
29-33: I thought these parts of the chapters were important: Mr. Pendanski handed him the shovel. “Here, take it, Zero. It’s all you’ll ever be good for.” Zero took the shovel. Then he swung it like a baseball bat. The metal blade smashed across Mr. Pendanski’s face. His knees crumpled beneath him. He was unconscious before he hit the ground.
He ran. His canteen was strapped around his neck. It banged against his chest as he ran, and every time it hit against him, it reminded him that it was empty, empty, empty.
1) When Stanley found Zero inside a boat buried in the dirt named Mary Lou. 2) When Stanley said if Big Thumb didn't have water or refuge, we wouldn't have any hope.
1. 1. I think it is important that Stanley had those crazy ideas. 2. 2.I think it is also important that Zero was the one that stole the sneakers
I think the most important part about these chapters is when they find the suitcase because it could have had something valuable in it.
